Tim and Gary have kindly welcome us right from the coach, warming us up with cups of tea and their engaging life stories and the various activities happening at Burnlaw Centre. Feeding the cows, climbing up a wood-house-to-be, making a wish under the Wishing Tree, having fresh home-made soup, getting together and singing in the Temple of Unity are all the unforgettable experiences with each and every Crossings member. Development Manager Crossings has recently appointed a part-time Development Manager, Andrew Tinkler, funded by The Newcastle Fund. His brief is to help us take the organisation forward, extending our work of celebrating diversity; broadening our impact and audiences; enabling and supporting Crossings’ members’ integration into the community in Newcastle. Watch this space. Crossings' weekly sessions are held on Mondays at The Holy Biscuit, 1 Clarence Street, Newcastle, NE2 1YH (choir during term time only). It's free and fun. All are welcome.
