Open Music Sessions
Come to the free, musician-led sessions, which bring together people from all over the world - asylum seekers, refugees, international and local musicians, to share and create music. All-comers are welcome, from experienced musicians to those who wish to learn to sing or play. The fun and inclusive sessions involve whole group activities such as musical sharing, singing, songwriting as well as some instrumental tuition. There is a free creche for the first half of the session and repayment of transport costs is available on request.
Crossings sessions are changing from Tuesdays to Mondays. They will be held at The Holy Biscuit, 1 Clarence Street, Newcastle, NE2 1YH, not 41 Jesmond Vale, which is sadly closing.
Our first session in The Holy Biscuit will be on Monday 3rd October from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
.
The Holy Biscuit is just off Stoddart Street, opposite The Biscuit Factory. It is a few minutes’ walk from Manors metro, New Bridge Street (many buses), and Sandyford Road (no 1 bus).
However The Holy Biscuit is not available on Monday 10th October, 14th November and 12th December. Please contact Lucy – 07960 417324, lucyfairley@gmail.com - for further information on session arrangements for these dates, or to find out more about Crossings.
